All the BLM nonsense with the NFL is nauseating.

Only one opinion os allowed. And not only is it the only one allowed, it's pushed down everyone's throats.

I believe these limited approved messages are a violation of the CRA.

You know there are plenty of guys in the league who are ALM, but they are not allowed to, and dare not, express it.

I can deal with a thing or two about equal justice before the game but it is nauseating seeing it throughout the game via commentary, written messages on uniform and field and commercials. Once opening kickoff happens, it should be strictly football from there on out.

This opening week of games is going to be that way. I've resigned to just not watching the pregame BS and for the Cowboys game listen to Brad Sham call the game on the radio while watching the game muted on the TV with an antenna. It's not quite synced up just right but IMO, it beats having to listen to the social justice references throughout the network broadcast.

I hope anyone who actually plans to watch the games uses an antenna or a some sort of unauthorized stream. If you tune in via satellite or digital cable your viewership can be counted in the statistics. Of course everyone should know any authorized stream would be counted in statistics. There are illegal stream out there that can be found. I had to watch them for a few years to watch the Houston Rockets and Astros when they first started the Comcast Houston sports network. I live in the Beaumont area which had Time Warner cable (now Spectrum) which did not carry the network. Comcast could not work out any deals for any other source to show games and Beaumont was too close to Houston so we were blacked out of any games using legal streams so my only option to watch was the illegal ones. I had to do that until DirectTV bought the network and turned it in into Root Sports Houston (now ATT Sportsnet). I had DIrectTV so I could finally watch the games legally. I would never recommend anyone breaking the law but I think it is EXTREMELY important to send a message to the NFL keeping anyone who is against the kneeling from showing up in any viewership statistics.

That being said I for one will NOT tune in at all until they come to there senses. I encourage anyone who is against the disrespect to the country to stay strong and completely boycott the NFL, NBA, MLB, or any other sport that pushes disrespect to this county. I love the Dallas Cowboys as much as anyone here or at the Zone but I cannot tolerate them supporting Marxism. I quit watching two years ago due to my hate for Garrett. It was hard at first but I knew the only way to send a message to Jerry was to take a stand and hope others did too. Jerry finally corrected his Garrett mistake and I planned to watch again but I absolutely will not as long as they support the madness. I highly encourage everyone to stay strong and take a stand on principles.

If anyone does watch I think they should keep a record of who advertises during the games. Please post it here. Everyone needs to reach out to these companies and let them know you will not purchase their products as long as they advertise during sports games that are actively disrespecting the country and supporting Marxist groups. The left pulls this crap all the time. It is time to fight fire with fire.

What really gets me is they keep putting out phrasing like "End Racism," or that voices need to be heard, and people should speak out. All the while, they are promoting racism. And it's not acceptable to speak out against racism if that racism is directed towards white or Jewish people (and others in some cases), or if it is racism from a black person/group.

The only racism that's allowed to be discussed or criticized is perceived (because it certainly isn't racism in A LOT of instances) racism against black people. That is, unless it's the racism of low standards/expectations that the left promotes.

I will also mention this push to vote from them. I saw it on their clothes, commercials and what not. They think that voting(for Dems) will get Trump and the Republicans out will all of a sudden end racism. Never mind that the party of racism are the Democrats.

They do this every election cycle then forget about minorities and change nothing. The Left, Sharpton among others are the real “knee on the neck” for African Americans........not Donald J Trump and white people!

Until they get informed and educated on the real problem, life will continue as is with minimal change. Keep voting for Dems and Socialism, then stop complaining about systemic racism because they are on the wrong side.

The only real systematic racism today is the racism of low expectations for minority groups by the left. The left acts like minority groups are incapable of helping themselves. That they are incapable of even getting something simple like official identification to prove their identity to vote. There is not a single incident by the police being pushed by the left that would have ended up like it did had the person who was killed, shot, etc... just followed orders given by the police where the incident would have turned out the way it did. There may be some incidents out there where the police acted solely based on race but they cannot be wide spread or we would hear about them nonstop on the news and it is most definitely not systematic. If I or any other white person ignored police instructions they would have to escalate the incident to use more force. An even better idea is to not do anything to make the police need to detain you in the first place.

There is also systemic racism in affirmative action laws. It's literally legislated racism. It doesn't get more "systemic" than that. It's an official, documented, ratified (and unconstitutional) part of the system.

Theoretically, they are rioting/looting/protesting where the Dems think the problem exists. So they are in essence telling us systemic racism is in the Dem controlled cities where the Dems control the local government including the police. So we have two possibilities... either the Dems lie and systemic racism doesn't exist or the Dems are telling on themself for allowing it. Which is it? Either way, it is the Dems causing the instability in our society today through deception or incompetence. If they want real change then they need to stop empowering the political party behind all that is being protested.

So I went walking this morning at 4 AM which is fairly normal for me. I saw another guy walking who also walks on a regular basis. We always wave and say hello as we pass by each other. This morning he just gave me a go to hell look. It really bothered me and I was trying to figure what I did to piss him off and then it dawned on me what the issue was. This morning when I got dressed to walk I dug down deep in my t-shirt drawer trying to get an old t-shirt to sweat in and the shirt I grabbed was an Astro's shirt. I would never be caught dead out in public wearing a shirt that supports any sports in the current environment but at 4 AM when I am going to get hot and sweaty and not see anyone but perhaps a few people I did not really care. It was just a shirt not pushing support. That guy who I have no clue what his name is now must now think I support the Astro's and in turn support the insanity that comes with professional sports leagues in these crazy times. Worse yet he may even think I am a democRAT. That really bothers me someone may think I would ever support anything so damn evil. I will now gather all my clothing that supports pro sports teams and stick it in the attack so I do not make that mistake again.

Pittsburgh Steelers' Alejandro Villanueva replaces Antwon Rose Jr.'s name on his helmet with the name of a slain veteran - NewsChannel 3-12

Antwon Rose Jr's death was not a case of "racial injustice" at the hands of a police officer. Rose was a passenger in a car that perpetrated a drive-by shooting attempting to kill a man. Police responded and chased the vehicle. Rose exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. That's when he was shot by police and later died. The police officer that shot Rose stood trial and was acquitted based on the facts in the case. The NFL is allowing players to wear names on their helmet of victims of racial injustice. IMO. Antwon Rose Jr does not qualify, he was a co-conspirator in a felony crime. Military veteran and Steelers TE, Alejandro Villanueva was right to cover Rose's name with tape and add the name of a vet that died in Afghanistan.
