This reality is disturbing and something to consider when arguing political theater issues.
Nope...hence the need for limited government.
How is this the need for limited government and not the need for publically funded elections. Or the need to remove the corrupting power of money in politics?
So the issue is corporations buying the government to serve their interest and the solution is to reduce the body that needs to regulate these people? Let’s just let Bezos and The Walton’s own everything. Without regulations capitalism ends with 1 guy owning everything.
Name any capitalist in the history of capitalism that in fact owned everything.
A bit of drama in that statement.
Not drama at all. Luckily we do have some anti monopoly regulations.
We don't have a pure capitalistic society fortunately. The laws of capitalism is to grow profits at all cost. There is no social morality principle to capitalism.
Look at the income and wealth gap over the last 50 years and extrapolate that out to another 50 years and see what it looks like. Its not a sustainable system.
Look up Noam Chomsky. Give his video Requim to an American Dream a watch. I believe it may be on Netflix.
I'm surprised no one has word to say about the video posted.
I post an eye opening video that should concern anyone regardless of your political party and its crickets.
The more powerful the government, the more corruption you will get. Silly laws trying to limit the money in politics are naive and will be swallowed by corruption.
