Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg dies at 87

She was on the wrong side of numerous legal decisions, IMO but she was well respected by the left and right. The process to replace her will truly be contentious like no other.

I cannot stand the woman but I do have a lot of respect for her toughness fighting off pancreatic cancer, one of the most deadly, multiple times.

At least now, that evil woman knows how wrong she was throughout her life.

Her satanic ideology will not be missed.

Thank you God for giving us this opportunity to replace her with a more God-fearing justice!

    I hope you are right.

Unfortunately, abortion has become so normalized as a form of birth control....I fear that there will never be any justices with the cojones to ever do the right thing and outlaw the practice.

I sure hope so. I am somewhat scared the left will steal this election by any means they can. If they do steal it hopefully the Republicans on the Senate have the balls to confirm a Constitutionalist to the court in a lame duck session. I doubt they have the balls to confirm one before the election. They will have the lives of millions innocents in their hands. I pray the right thing happens. There is no doubt the left would do it.

If any of you are thinking the death of RBG means the end to abortion, it will never be banned outright as a practice in this country. The best we can hope for is it left to the 10th amendment for application. That still leaves abortion legal in the Godless states of this union of which there are plenty.

You are correct. On that matter I have always wondered why Roe v. Wade has never been challenged in a different way. The Roe decision was centered around privacy meaning a woman has the right to privacy with her doctor and thus they could "discuss" abortion and ultimately have an abortion. I often have wondered why a conservative state like Texas never passed a law saying it is illegal to perform an abortion although it is perfectly legal for a woman to have the right to "privately discuss" an abortion. With such a law it does not actually overturn the Roe decision yet still makes it illegal for a doctor to perform abortion.

Why the left fights so vigorously for Roe V Wade to be upheld is a mystery to me. It's as if they think abortion will be banned nationwide... that will never happen. Even if Roe V Wade is struck down, each state will have to make their own decision on the legality of abortion before it is actually banned in that state. I'm sure Texas will act quickly to ban abortion but other states will not and never will. So, with the reality of us always having "abortion states", the left needs to stop destroying the nation over this issue.

If the Dems want to fight over socialism then let's have that fight, not in an election but on the streets. Let the fight be impactful so that its results are long-lasting and never forgotten. This issue must get resolved. We can not continue as a nation so divided on what it stands for.

Joe Biden is stupid to not release a list of potential SCOTUS nominees. Everyone should know this is how we end up with someone like HRC on the court. No thank you.

Unfortunately we are fighting a side that wants to rewrite the true history of this nation and destroy it so they will ignore the facts like usual.

Senate Leader McConnell says the Republicans have the votes to confirm the President's SCOTUS nominee. The President has announced he will name that nominee on Saturday, 26 Sept. The Senate should proceed without delay. I suspect that the nominee will be ACB. If that is the case, she has already been through a Senate judicial hearing for the federal bench, Nov 2017. This should greatly shorten the time it takes to confirm her. All the Senate judiciary committee needs to do is review her 2017 confirmation and then set a date for the full Senate floor vote. The Dems will of course do their best to delay the process.
